Description[]
Tiris is a large country that occupies around %65 of the land of Disfas. It is a a very warlike nation, whose economy is based on the trade of weapons. Most of Tiris is in the massive mountain chain.
Culture[]
Tirisian culture is very rich, it dates back thousands of years, and all of it is filled with war. Warrior-kings hold the highest place in society followed by blacksmiths and warriors.
Long ago, a massive army of minotaurs wanted to take the land of Disfas. The young country of Tiris came under attack. However three men rose up and overthrew the old king. These men were legends in Tirisian history, as they were the most powerful warriors to ever walk. These three men led the Tirisian people to glory and victory and utterly annihilated the minotaurs. AFter this amazing victory against overwhelming odds the three warriors were made the kings of Tiris. Each controlled a province within the nation, respectively.
Warriors[]
Tirisian warriors are the most fiercest and powerful soldiers ever known. They are trained from birth to their 18th birthday. They usually use javelins and short swords.
Only males were allowed to be warriors, and to further thin their ranks ony certain families would be allowed to have warriors. What this means is that warriors are born into their social caste, just like every other citizen in Tiris. Small baby boys from warrior families are inspected and if they meet the standards they are kept, if not they are "discarded". Girls are also inspected, but they go through less rigorous standards. They can choose to be a warrior and this decision is uncommon but is highly honorable postition nonetheless.
Warrior families are in high numbers, around 65% of Tirisian families are warrior families. Warrior patriarchs are encouraged to have as many children as possible to supply the nations ever growing need for soldiers.
Shield[]
The shield is the most important element of the Tirisian warriors arsenal. It is both a offensive weapon and a defensive tool. The edges are plated with Dark Starsteel and are extremely sharp.
Javelin[]
The Javelin is the signature of the Tirisian warrior. It is rarely thrown and is used more like a spear. The metal for its tip is usually a more common form of starsteel.
Sword[]
The sword is usually a last resort weapon after the javelin has been thrown or destroyed. It is composed of basic steel.
